Data Privacy Notice
Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173)
Before you start, please read how ARRIESGADO COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC. handles the information in this form. We collect and use it in line with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
What we collect
- Student: name, birth date and place, sex, nationality, religion, mother tongue, ethnic group, LRN, mobile number and email.
- Family: names, relationship, contact numbers, occupation, education and income of parents or guardians, and family size.
- Address: home address. If you use the map, the pin only helps fill in the address; it is not saved.
- School background: last school attended and earlier schools, and any health information you choose to give.
- Documents: requirements and proof of payment you upload or hand in later.
Why we collect it
- To process the application, admission and enrollment.
- To keep the student's school records.
- To submit reports required by DepEd, CHED or TESDA (for example, the LIS/LRN records).
- To contact the family about the application, school announcements and emergencies.
Who can see it
Only authorised school staff who need it for their work (registrar, admissions, finance, guidance, clinic and teachers). We share it outside the school only when the law requires it, such as with DepEd, CHED, TESDA or other government agencies, or with service providers bound by confidentiality.
How long we keep it
For as long as the student is enrolled, and afterwards only as long as records-retention rules and the law require. Applications that do not push through are kept only as long as needed to close them.
How we protect it
Access is limited to authorised accounts, the information travels over a secure connection, and staff are bound to keep it confidential.
